Yusaku Ono focuses his career on the investment fund business. He started his investment fund practice at Hamada and Matsumoto more than 35 years ago. Since then he has been practicing law in respect of investment fund business. Due to his long career as an investment fund business lawyer, he is a real expert in the investment fund business especially disclosure of foreign investment funds, shares/units of which are offered or sold in Japan by means of the public offering or private placement in Japan.
He also actively engages in the asset management business for international investment management companies located in Japan.

Kosuke Yatabe advises domestic / foreign clients for their fund business/asset management business, securities finance / securities transactions, the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act compliance and M&A transactions.
Before the launch of this firm, he dealt with various cross-border/domestic transactions, such as global offering finance transactions, Euro CB/Alpine CB finance transactions, third party allotment finance transactions, tender offer acquisitions of Japanese listed shares by foreign companies, merger between REITs, and all-share offer for UK/Australian listed shares by way of scheme of arrangement.
He was on secondment for two years in the international business division of Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc., where he handled various transactions such as independent electricity production projects and the business alliance with TEPCO.
